Overview
A private one-way 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes: Aït Ben Haddou and the Dades Valley, the Todra Gorge and a night in the Erg Chebbi dunes, then north through the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas to Fes.
Going one way avoids driving the same road twice and fits naturally into a Morocco itinerary that starts in Marrakech and ends in Fes. Day one crosses the Tizi n'Tichka pass to Aït Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate, then east to the Dades Valley (about 310 km). Day two runs through Tinghir and the Todra Gorge to Merzouga, about 250 km, for a camel ride into the dunes.
Day three is the longest: about 460 km and 8–9 hours with stops, north through Erfoud, the Ziz Valley palm groves, Midelt and the cedar forest near Azrou, where Barbary macaques are often by the road, arriving in Fes in the evening. Your driver can drop you at a medina riad, the train station or the airport.

About 460 km, roughly 7–8 hours of driving, or 8–9 hours with lunch and stops.
