Frequently asked questions about Morocco itineraries.
How many days do I need for a Morocco itinerary?
It depends on how much ground you want to cover. A single city such as Marrakech or Fes works well over two to three days, while a route that links two cities with the desert or the coast usually wants a week or more so the driving days don't dominate. Because every plan here is private, we can stretch or shorten any itinerary to fit the days you actually have.
Are these itineraries private, and can I change them?
Yes. Every itinerary on this page is a starting point, not a fixed package. The vehicle, driver and route are yours alone, so you can swap a stop, add a night, change the order of cities, or build in a slower pace. Tell us what you'd like to keep and what you'd like to change, and we rework the day-by-day plan around it.
How do multi-stop day-trip itineraries chain together?
A multi-day route is built from individual day plans that connect logically — each day ends where the next begins, so there's no backtracking. A typical chain might pair a city's medina with a nearby valley or coastal town, then move on to the desert or another city, with the drive between them treated as part of the experience rather than dead time. We sequence the stops to keep daily driving sensible and the days balanced.
What does a typical day on these itineraries look like?
Most days mix one or two anchor experiences — a guided medina walk, a valley or desert excursion, a coastal town — with free time and unhurried meals. We build in flexibility so you're never rushed from stop to stop, and we confirm pickup times for each day in advance so the morning is calm.
How far in advance should I plan a Morocco itinerary?
Earlier is easier, especially for travel in spring and autumn and around major holidays, when good riads and guides book up. That said, we regularly arrange shorter-notice trips too. The sooner you share your cities and dates, the more we can secure your preferred stays and tailor the route; we send a written day-by-day plan and an itemised quote within 24 hours.
