Accessible travel in Morocco: day trips with reduced mobility

What we change for travellers with reduced mobility

1/3 What's hard

Medina cobbles and steps, the rocky Ouzoud cliff path, Ourika's stepping stones, the walk to Aroumd at about 1,800 m, and climbing into a balloon basket.

2/3 What works

Scenic drives with short stops: the Three Valleys loop, the Agafay terrace at sunset, the drive over the Tizi n'Tichka.

3/3 Tell us first

Wheelchair, walking frame, stairs, rest breaks: tell us exactly what you need. We'll say honestly what we can arrange before you pay anything.

Details

What travellers with reduced mobility ask us

Is Morocco wheelchair accessible?

Mostly not in the old medinas, which have narrow lanes, cobbles and steps. Day trips by car can work well. Tell us exactly what you need and we'll tell you honestly what we can arrange.

Do you have wheelchair-accessible vehicles?

Tell us your needs when you ask for a quote and we'll confirm in writing what vehicle we can provide. We won't promise what we haven't confirmed.

Which day trips involve the least walking?

The Three Valleys loop and the Agafay evening (without the camel or quad). Most of the Three Valleys is the drive and short stops.

How much does a accessible trip in Morocco cost?

We don't publish prices. The cost depends on your dates, how many of you there are, the vehicle and where you sleep, so we send a fixed written quote within 24 hours of your request. There is no deposit to ask for one.
